The Omni Shoreham is a large hotel in the Woodley Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Set atop 11 acres of land overlooking Rock Creek Park, the property offers a resort-like option near the National Zoo and is a short drive or metro ride from the National Mall and U.S. Capitol. The hotel opened in 1930 and is on the registered list of Historic Hotels of America. The area surrounding the property is a quiet neighborhood filled with treelined streets and row houses, yet it's close to a variety of restaurants and less than a mile west of the eclectic Adams Morgan neighborhood.
Guest Rooms
The guest rooms at the Omni Shoreham are decorated in shades of cream, yellow and blue. Guest rooms have Serta pillow-top mattresses, down comforters and pillows, minifridges and 32-inch flat-screen TVs with on-demand games and movies.
Dining
The Omni Shoreham offers several dining options. The hotel's main restaurant is Robert’s Restaurant, which serves American cuisine paired with views of Rock Creek National Park. Some dishes at Robert's Restaurant include pan seared rockfish, tomato basil pappardelle and lamb noisette. The Marquee Bar and Lounge offers small bites and cocktails in a masculine, wood-paneled setting, and Morsel's is the property’s gourmet coffee bar.
Business
The Omni Shoreham is a full-service convention hotel with more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space available. The hotel offers seven historic ballrooms and 24 meeting rooms for business events. The property has an on-site theater that can seat 2,300 guests, and the largest banquet space can accommodate up to 1,500 guests. Plus, the hotel has two 24-hour business centers with copy machines and printers.
